Ovo Energy was founded in Bristol in 2009 and became the UK's second-largest domestic supplier after acquiring SSE's domestic customer base in 2020. It offers 100% renewable electricity and carbon-neutral gas (via offsets), and runs the Plan Zero initiative to help customers decarbonise their homes.
